Fields of application

Smoke extraction multi-leaf dampers are designed for the elimination of smoke in smoke extraction systems and for the supply of the required fresh air within the smoke extraction system.
The smoke extraction multi-leaf damper ERK-MB is compliant with EN 12101-8, EN 13501-4, EN 1366-2 and EN 1366-10 according to the Declaration of Performance No. DoP-ERK-MB-2019-04-01.
Its classification according to EN 13501-4 is, depending on the installation situation: EI 90 (v_edw, h_od i↔o) S 1000 C₁₀₀₀₀ MA multi.

Function

The smoke extraction multi-leaf dampers are driven by a reversible OPEN / CLOSE actuator with a supply voltage of 24 V AC/DC or 230 V AC. These actuators are located inside a heat-insulated actuator enclosure, thus guaranteeing correct opening and closing of the smoke extraction multi-leaf damper under the effects of a fire.
